"Pros: Apartments are in central area. The supermarket, restaurants and cafes, as well as the city center are accessible by 2 minutes walk. Main bus station is less then 10 minute walk away. The host was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We arrived late, but we checked in by ourselves following instructions and didn't have any problems. Beds are very comfortable, and the apartment was clean and well equipped. There are parking lots available for guests on location. I would definitely recommend Bernik for family trips, because it is very accessible and comfortable for older and younger members of the family, although, during sport events and weekends there might be some noise from the street as city center and cafes are really nearby. Overall, it wasn't a problem for us.
Cons: We liked everything about the apartment. Overall, area is beautiful for hiking and skiing enthusiasts. It can be loud in the city center during some big sport events, as there are concerts, pubs and restaurants, but it feels really safe and friendly, and very peaceful when there isn't an event. The town is more expensive then many similar places in Slovenia and Europe - so if you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, you can maybe enjoy better one of the little towns in the vicinity."
