"Pros: The owner was very fair and nice and got our money back without much conflict. So that was positive. We're very grateful for that. I'm sorry i had to write this, i tried to be objective in the description, but i needed to write a review about a situation there, for the future guests, so someone else doesn't end up suprised about the conditions.
Cons: First of, there are 3 units that they are renting on the property and none of the 3 were acceptable enough so we ( mother and daughter) could spend 2 nights..they offered to choose from all 3 of them on the spot. Two of them are inside a very old, cold house, and one is a studio outside in a wooden hut. The studio was way too small for 2 people that isn't a couple and has no proper kitchen.
Caprivi is is the old house. The furniture there is very old and doesn't give a good vibe at all, it's very badly equipt, very little dishes in the kitchen, thin mattresses, overall not very clean and well kept, Caprivi was also quite dark, cold and humid. The second unit in this old house at least wasn't humid and cold, but otherwise not much better. The old house is not on the pictures. The nice garden and facility that you see on the pictures from outside, is what they call a "common space", it is across the street from the old house, and NOT where Caprivi apartment is. This pictures are there because they offer to come chill on this common garden/terrace/communal kitchen, that is across the street from the old house. It's not private either, owner lives next to it as well.
The last straw that made us leave was that there's no wifi in the old house with 2 units. Mobile data and mobile signal also don't work in the house. The owner said we're supposed to come use the wifi in his common space but we found that unacceptable as it is across the street and we needed it for work. In his words, the didn't arrange the wifi in the old house because it's empty most of the time."
