"Pros: Great host, comfortable beds, nicely renovated old cottage. 400 old linden tree (lipa) just around the corner with a playground. Two more playgrounds in the village.
It is good to know that the doorframes on the ground floor are low (as it used to be in the past)." ~Martin
"Pros: Quite street in a village, great location if you seek peace and quite and want to explore the location via hiking. You can use car, but even do a longer walk to Rajecke Teplice. You can park next to the accommodation, free of charge. The facility has everything you need for few days if stay, however for longer period I would choose one with better equipped kitchen. Though it was clean and spacious. As we traveled with our little toddler girl, we and she enjoyed a lot the library with beautiful kids books :) and the hosts were very nice, letting us use their brush & hose to clean our muddy shoes from one of the hikes, and they shared with us also some homemade Easter cakes.
Cons: This might be subjective of course, though we did not enjoy the bed and mattresses, our backs & necks felt broken. We missed some equipment in the kitchen like sharp knife to cut e.g. the bread, or pasta strainer. Otherwise it has been a great spot for our family hiking adventures." ~Daniela
"Pros: Friendly hosters (and dog too!). Large and comfortable beds, plenty of free space in rooms (good for children in case of bad weather), private terrace. Enough equipment in the kitchen. Private parking. Good start point for the hiking in Súľovské skaly, Strážovské Vrchy or Mala Fatra. A nice restaurant (Farma Bardy) nearby, also a playground.
For people without a car, there's train stop close to the appartment so you can arrive here fom Žilina (train goes every 1-2 hour until 19:30).
Cons: Terrace needs repair in few places. Car traffic sounds sometimes can be recognized as annoying in the morning (the house is in second line of buildings).
This is small vilage so there's no grocery store nearby (one need to walk 15 min or drive 3 min to the store)." ~Sławomir
