"Pros: Eden island is a perfect getaway if staying in Mahé. Check in was simple, amenities were plenty. Sarah was always on hand to help and the VMA staff were super helpful. The amenities including the lovely beaches, restaurants and shops were of good quality, no where was too busy, felt like a residential island that has been well cared for. Would recommend a stay here. Cons: Some of the furniture was looking a little worn eg one of the sun loungers had seen better days, the sofa in the lounge was a little worn. The golf buggy was great to get around on although the seat was torn and when it rained the roof held the rain which proceeded to soak passengers everytime you breaked😂There were a number of Russian Families there at the same time as us who were a little loud. "Pros: The property is a fabulous size with two double bedrooms, each with their own shower and toilet. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The apartment was well laid out with beautiful furniture selections. It looks out onto a beautiful marina which in the morning sunshine was gorgeous to look at (we even had our own kayak to explore the marina and sea with). You get your own golf buggy to explore the island with, which my husband enjoyed driving massively. Very convenient location on Mahé to reach different parts of the island. Would recommend the owner and his manager. Cons: The only thing we had trouble with was the face recognition that is required on the island to enter the facilities such as the car parking and gym etc. This is no fault of the owner or apartment manager at all, just Eden Island itself. We registered our faces twice at the office, and it never worked for our entire stay. This might have been a one-off fault for us, but it did cause some issues for us when trying to get in and out of the car park multiple times a day. Again, I reiterate that this was nothing to do with the apartment at all, I can't fault them!" ~Francine
