"Pros: The owner Mamadou was kind, he welcomed us to the property, where I think we were the only guests at that time. Therefore, the stay was peaceful and relaxing. The room was nice, had a mosquito net (though no mosquitos in April), and it was clean. The garden is very pretty. It is not possible to order food at this guesthouse, but there is another hotel with a restaurant just across the street (Keur Marrakis).
Cons: The breakfast was a bit basic and not included. We asked about transportation options to Joal, and the driver the owner called gave a ridiculous price of 20,000 CFA. In the end, we took a taxi from the street and the price was 5,000 CFA. So, be careful."
