"Pros: It was like paradise here. Our superior bungalow was gorgeous and huge, and our private patio offered a breathtaking view over Akagera National Park. I felt like I could see all the way to Tanzania. The decor was superb: all new but with a traditional style. Everything inside and outside was so well designed, with impeccable attention to detail. (like, fairy lights illuminating the path to our lodge at night, and a fellow who washes your car every night.) Their rain shower is the best I've ever experienced. We took all of our meals (breakfast, dinner, and lunch-to-go) from their lovely onsite restaurant, which is run by a great chef who was professionally trained at a culinary institute in Kigali. I'm so glad we were able to spend two nights here. I wish it had been a week. I do not have enough words to describe how incredible this place is. We were a family of three and despite that they are set up for double occupancy, they arranged an extra bed for us so that we could stay together." ~Victoria
