"Pros: This place billed itself as 'hotel quality without the hotel price,' and I think that's really fair. It was spotlessly clean. The owner was welcoming and accommodating (even plying me with some free booze!) His English was not super strong but easy to communicate with a mixture of English and Romanian words. The room was very nice, a good size, well furnished and extremely comfortable. He bed was very relaxing. The shower was good and easy to use. Great to have a fridge in the room and a communal balcony, just next to the room, to sit out on. There was a very well equipped communal kitchen for guest use (though I didn't make use of it). Location an easy 5 mins (stiff uphill) walk to the citadel and 15 mins or so walk to the train station. A quiet residential neighbourhood stay. Cons: Everything was good, no complaints." ~Gail
