One of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. The place felt completely abandoned and lifeless, with an eerie silence all around. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very sketchy guy who asked me to pay in cash and insisted I cancel my Booking.com reservation — extremely suspicious behavior.
The location itself was a nightmare. It was dirty everywhere: the bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom were in unacceptable condition. The whole house stank of cigarette smoke. The bedroom had no door for privacy, and the bathroom was shared, located out in the hallway — something they fail to mention in the listing.
It was dark throughout the house, with poor lighting and a gloomy atmosphere. The room was freezing cold, with no proper heating. The curtains were ancient, worn out, and had a bad smell. The bedsheets had clearly seen better days — faded, old-fashioned patterns straight out of the early 1900s, and they smelled musty and unwashed.
The furniture was outdated in the worst way possible, and the entire space was cluttered with doilies and countless porcelain figurines that gave the place a creepy, museum-like vibe.
For nearly 50 euros per night, this was a complete rip-off. Avoid this place at all costs. Truly awful."
