Accomodation

Situated in a pedestrian area inside Cluj-Napoca's mediaeval city wall, Hostel Retro offers 24-hour reception, free bicycles, as well as a sauna for a surcharge. The bathrooms are either shared, located next to the rooms, or en-suite. Different maps of the region and international telephone cards are provided at the reception. Safe luggage storage is available. The shared lounge features a smart TV and a small library. Guests of the Retro Hostel can also prepare food in well-equipped shared kitchenettes. Free tea and coffee is offered and so is free WiFi. Hostel Retro is a 2-minute walk from the Main Square and 500 metres away from the Babes-Bolyai University, the second largest university in Romania. Guests can also visit the Museum of History, the Botanical Garden or the Ethnographic Museum of Cluj. Someseni Airport is 7 km and the train station is a 25-minute walk away. Guests staying 3 or more nights can use the on-site sauna for free.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 7 years old to 14 years old stay for 40% of the adult rate per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 15 years old to 17 years old stay for 15% of the adult rate per person per night when using an existing bed. People no matter the age stay for free when using an available extra bed. You haven't added any cots. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
