"Pros: We recently had the pleasure of staying in one of the spacious tents at this accommodation, and it was truly a magical experience. The tent itself exceeded our expectations, offering ample space and all the amenities needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.
One of the highlights was enjoying the Jacuzzi in the late autumn chill, surrounded by the backdrop of the forest. Waking up to the sight of deer in the background added a touch of magic to our mornings. Although they ran away upon noticing movement, the moment was truly special.
A short 5-minute walk through the forest led us to the lake, with awe-inspiring moments as the landscape changed on our approach. Walking along the lake's shore, our children had a blast searching for rocks and tiny shells while exploring the area to find the perfect walking stick.
In the evenings we roasted chestnuts on the barbecue and gathered around a campfire, singing mountain songs in the peaceful forest. Adrian provided us with the coal for the barbecue.
Special thanks to Adrian, who was always available to provide guidance, and to Dan, our local host, who was very helpful throughout our stay.
Our two families comfortably shared a tent, but we believe it would also accommodate three couples quite comfortably, offering excellent value for money.
Cons: We initially faced some challenges in adjusting the heat settings in the dome, the problem was quickly resolved with Adrian's helpful advice. A note for future guests: clearer instructions on the heating technology upon arrival would be beneficial.
It's worth mentioning that the accommodation is expanding, with new units under construction. While the landscape may currently appear a bit unfinished due to ongoing work, the privacy and intimacy it currently offers are unparalleled, with only two domes on the vast property. We recommend taking advantage of this unique experience before it becomes more crowded.
The towels lacked crispness and a fresh scent, possibly due to prolonged storage in a humid environment. Addressing this would enhance the overall comfort of the stay." ~Irina
"Pros: Great views over the lake, house is air conditioned and pretty well equipped with everything needed. Animals (cats and a dog) were welcoming us and made our stay very warm. House was very clean
Cons: There is not much space for putting your clothes just chest of drawers. A good kitchen knife that actually cuts would be useful. There is no cleaning during your stay which is ok if you stay for a few nights. Pool is tiny just to stay and enjoy the lake view" ~Karolina
"Pros: The stunning local scenery, stellar accommodations, and attentive hosts make Casa Rogin the perfect getaway. Our party of 10 arrived to find an immaculately clean cabin, complete with a Christmas tree, a roaring fire, and the table set. The bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were similarly show-stopping, while the outdoor common spaces were the cherry on top— our party loved spending time in the wood-fired sauna and the traditional hot tub during the evenings, and making sausages on the grill for dinner.
Arguably the most impressive part of the our stay is the attention to detail of the hosts. Iulia and Alexandru were consistently helpful, from getting us fresh bread in the mornings, warming the sauna in the evenings, and taking special care to make sure that all members of our party were comfortable. We were delightfully surprised by the level of care put into each aspect of our stay, and it is clear that Iulia and Alexandru, as well as Casa Rogin, are institutions competitive on the international level. Thank you to Alexandru and Iulia for an amazing stay!" ~Cristian
"Pros: The house is far from the main road, its very peaceful and quiet there, the view of the lake and the mountains is breathtaking.
There is everyhting you need in the house including very comfortable bed, kitchen utensils, big fridge, spacios shower, hot tub and many more things, it also looks very modern and tasteful, you can tell that the owners really tried their best to make it look as nice as possible.
The owners themselves are the kindest people - we felt really welcome and we felt at home there, they showed us around and even took us up the hill behind the house to see the view from there. You can tell that they really put their hearts and souls into this business, which is not something you see very often.
There is a lot of possibilities for hikes there, so it is a great location for being outdoors and exploring the forests/mountains in the area. :)
Cons: The only thing that might possibly be a problem is quite a steep unpaved road up the hill to the house, but we made it up with a relatively low and not a 4x4 car without an issue, so I personally think this hill looks scarier than it actually is. :)" ~Jurek
