"Pros: Absolutely beautiful house in a gorgeous green valley. The house is located 15 min from Avrig which is a small city and 45 min from Sibiu which is the well known city of this area.
The house has an amazing garden with a pool and a small children's playground, you can easily hear the river just next to the house. Within the house there is the upper floor with fully renovated rooms each with a private bathroom and a small porch overlooking the garden. The rooms are extremely clean and the linen and towels smell like a 5 star hotel. Downstairs are the common areas with a kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped including a coffee machine, micro, dishwasher and more. There is also an outside grill if you want to throw a BBQ and the Lidl supermarket in Avrig has plenty of food supply.
Andrei the host was very responsive and helpful, easy to communicate with. His brother house next door can also be booked if you are a big group.
Perfect place for a family vacation, highly quiet and relaxing.
Cons: The major drawback is that the cooking stove is outside the house and the sink is a bit small. For us the kitchen was nevertheless very convenient. I am sure that once it's renovated, like the rest of the house, it will be perfect."

"Pros: Location amazing, weather in Romania amazing, the river at the back of the chalet and the sound of the running water just helps sending you into the deepest and most relaxing sleep.
The mountain air just keeps you drunk with the need to chill and enjoy the views of the river bed. The activities and the key points of attraction are within driving distance. Many restaurants with a short walk to the chalet.
The owners are amazing and with the willingness to help and make your stay as good as possible. Try the local foods and drinks you're in for a culinary trip.
Kids went mad, playing football and dipping in the kid friendly swimming pool. Every morning, the shower was a quick dip in the cold river with Cristal clear water. 24/7 hot water is, however, available in the cabin, by the way 😉
Having your morning coffee and breakfast alfresco on the terrace is amazing.
