"Pros: The owners are very friendly and a decent breakfast with tea, coffee, juice and bread and jams is included. It is an easy walk into town by daylight, but challenging in the night, as is the drive. Cons: It was cold when we were there and there is no heating so everything gets damp when it is raining. No seating area in the rooms we had, but possible in the lounge annex breakfast room." ~Harry

"Pros: Generally well equipped. Excellent mattresses and pillows. Cons: We paid to rent a whole 3-bedroom property but the landlady locked two of the bedrooms because there were only two of us. She had tried to contact us, but there was a problem and she couldn’t. If we had only wanted one bedroom there would have been no need to lock the other two to keep us out! She eventually arrived well after 6pm and unlocked the other rooms." ~Stephanie

"Pros: The house was very spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed sitting in the garden. There were lots of seating areas to chose from. The host was very helpful with directions and told us about a shortcut through to the town. An excellent place to stay!" ~Jonathan
