The breakfast during first stay is fantastic but during the second stay is not very satisfactory. The staff however is very helpful. "Pros: I chose this because I had a very early start the following morning, a train at 05.23 from the main railway station - this was 10-15 minutes' walk away, the price was reasonable, and reviews suggested it would be good for somewhere to spend the night. In fact, returning to Poznań a few days later and staying for three nights, I booked again. Pentagos is some of the apartments in a four-storey block, with the rooms in each apartment having been converted into individual apartments. Access is therefore through three separate locked doors - the door from the street, the door into the apartment, and then the door into the individual room. Pentagos has a small office here, and that was where I checked in - so indicating time of arrival is probably quite important. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was clean, beds reasonably comfortable, and en suite bathroom perfectly clean and modern (up to the standards expected of a good hotel). A kettle was provided, as were crockery and cutlery, and there was tea and coffee for making hot drinks in the entrance area (but no milk). I had booked a "Superior Twin Room" (although I booked a normal single room for my second stay, and wished I'd booked the Superior). Cons: It's in an older building, with access to the apartments only via a single set of stairs. The office (and my apartment) is on the fourth floor. This was not a problem for me, but might be for some who are less mobile. The appearance of the entrance and stairs - communal, of course, for all the residents of the building - might put people off staying here and give a false (poor) impression of the accommodation. (There was also a little confusion over my booking, but only after I'd checked in, when I had a message from Booking.com saying they had been unable to cancel my booking - I'd not asked for it to be cancelled, and wonder if I'd accidentally tapped the "cancel" button on the app on my phone. But this did NOT affect my stay at all.)" ~Brian
