"Pros: This house is fantastic! A minute walk from a secluded beach, surrounded by banana and papaya groves and all the amazing Madeira greenery, with a porch overlooking the ocean. The house itself is huge and spacious, two bathrooms (excellent showers). The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your family, and there is even salt, olive oil, and other essentials. Parking is right on the house grounds, and there's an excellent stone grill we used to barbecue. We loved the sound of the waves outside. Those don't bother you at night as the windows are soundproof, and I slept like a baby all the nights we were there :) The location is perfect for trips around the island with magnificent levadas and breathtaking beaches just a short drive away. The communication with the host was clear, with good directions and easy check-in and out. Cons: I really have nothing bad to say. As seasoned travelers, we truly felt like the owners thought of everything to make for a perfect stay on the island. I recommend it without any hesitations." ~Javier
