"Pros: Casa dos Chocalhos is situated in a rural area about 15 minutes drive from Mertola, perfect for a relaxed few days away from everything but great for exploring Mertola itself, the Guadiana river and wine farms to the north and west. This region is hot in August, 40°C+ so the pool and outdoor shower are just perfect for that, a great outdoor area with 'churrasco', aircon in the bedrooms. Bernardo was in contact for any queries via WhatsApp and we were greeted on arrival by Helena with a warm welcome, thank you both." ~Patrick
