The parking place provided is very useful if you do not want to keep the rented car in the public parking lot. I was lucky, because when I arrived, the garage door was still open, so I could sneak in without the remote controller. Otherwise I would recommend parking outside in R. do Alto do Pico street if you find a free parking lot, until you get the keys and acquire the remote controller of the garage door, to not wait too long at the garage entrance. Cons: The apartment is on a very steep road. Approaching it either on foot or by car is challenging. This is typical to Madeira, so this is not the fault of the apartment, but be prepared." ~Tibor

"Pros: Casa Pico Musica is a place with a lot of character, located close to the city center and offering a beautiful view of the port and the town. The spacious balcony is definitely "la pièce de résistance" and can easily compete with many of the city's terraces. I felt very comfortable in this studio — it has everything you might need, from kitchen utensils to coffee machine, washing machine and so on. Besides that, the studio has books, candles, and objects that make it a cozy, intimate space. The balcony has sofas and swings, and Michael, the host, is a very kind and welcoming person.
