"Pros: We had a great stay in this apartment! It is larger than expected, calm, and comfortable. The location is excellent too. Contrary to some other guests, we didn't find the mattress too hard and we slept very well. We also appreciated the blackout curtains. A dining table has been added which is really helpful." ~Ariane

"Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Apartamentos Progresso 1º Dto. The communication with the host was easy and prompt, a few maintenance issues we had were quickly resolved. The location is amazing, walking distance to most of Funchal attractions, we managed to find parking easily in the area. The building has a beautiful lobby and staircase and the flat itself is well appointed. Cons: The building faces a busy street, but if you keep the windows closed, it's not too bad. I would love to have a few shelves in the wardrobe that had only hanging rail." ~Olazilber
