He was super helpful throughout our stay and kept informing us about cool event around the islands throughout our stay. We loved staying at the apartment. "Pros: I highly recommend the apartment. The host (José) was really flexible, he helped us with everything. The apartment was nice, spacious and clean and the city centre is only a few minutes away on foot. Check-in and check-out were easy. If you need really good Wi-Fi (or any in the bedroom), this is not the place for you. But we didn't care - we went there to relax and not to work home-office.😉" ~Krisztina

"Pros: We had a great stay in this apartment! It is larger than expected, calm, and comfortable. The location is excellent too. "Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Apartamentos Progresso 1º Dto. The communication with the host was easy and prompt, a few maintenance issues we had were quickly resolved. The location is amazing, walking distance to most of Funchal attractions, we managed to find parking easily in the area. The building has a beautiful lobby and staircase and the flat itself is well appointed. Cons: The building faces a busy street, but if you keep the windows closed, it's not too bad. I would love to have a few shelves in the wardrobe that had only hanging rail." ~Olazilber
