"Pros: Large, well laid out, spacious 2 bed & 2 bathroom property with balconies front & rear giving good views over a park, the sea & Funchal in the distance. Great location with lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and local transport all within 5 minutes walk. Clean and tidy throughout, very responsive, helpful property manger who resolved our one small issue within a couple of hours. Cons: The mattresses on one of the beds was probably too hard for most people." ~Paul

"Pros: Location was really good, close to shopping, grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes, restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood. Lots of amenities nearby., tours, car rentals etc. We liked the lidos and Praia Fromosa beach nearby. Lots of places to walk to or there are bus stops close by. We had our own designated underground parking spot which was great for rentals. Our balcony was quite nice, partial sea view and mountain view. Nice pool and gardens. The apartment and the building was really clean! We were happy that we were able to check in earlier after a long flight. Cons: We had a broken kettle, but it was replaced within a week. Broken toilet seat which was never replaced while we were there for 5 weeks. We had some windy nights during our stay, the building can be quite noisy, lots of rattling, not sure where it was coming from though. The balcony can also be quite windy too. At this time of year, we would have preferred an apartment facing the pool, which was sunnier and out of the wind." ~Marcy

"Pros: The apartment was very spacious, clean and well furnished. It was very well stocked: plenty of towels, both beach and bath, the kitchen had everything we needed, extra toilets rolls, lovely shower gel, there were even some very handy guide books on the shelves. These little details made it a very comfortable and enjoyable stay The location was great, close to Funchal but not right in the centre. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance and one of the natural swimming pools is only a 20minute walk away too. The parking was secure and the pool was lovely. Cons: There was some construction going on in a nearby property that was quite noisy at times but we were up and out early to see the beautiful sights of Madeira that it didn't bother us!" ~Estelle

"Pros: Very spacious - Private parking spot without additional cost - Elevator - Well equipped kitchen (frying pan is available despite previous comments) - Very comfortable bed - Big balcony - Quiet neighborhood - definitely better for families than the noisy Funchal center - Perfect park with playground for kids and dogs - Very nice swimming pool - At least two car rental offices nearby - Close to the Madeira Forum mall - Cleaning and towel change in the middle of our stay - Extremely helpful staff and very warm welcome - Close to the bus stop (airport and city buses) Cons: Everything was perfect" ~Michal
