"Pros: The setting for this fabulous place is stunning. The view from our area was beautiful. With a few properties in this location. we feel we had the best home, with a view of the pool and a monastery. The Breakfast that we were supplied with was such a lovely touch, and a real unexpected treat.
The kitchen was small and compact, but with everything you could ask for while cooking on holiday and the coffee pod machine was a fantastic bonus. The beds were comfortable and with plenty of room. The bathroom was clean and bright with enough space to move around comfortably.
The pool was a real treat and was a welcomed relief from the sunshine, with plenty of space to sit or recline and relax around the pool too.
The host was beyond hospitable and extremely helpful and gave us plenty of suggestions to do and see while we were there in the local area and beyond with fantastic recommendations on places to eat and takeaways, villages to visit. We were lucky enough to try the wine that is grown on the estate too.

"Pros: The location is very pleasant, spacious and a good spot for a retreat. The house is very well equipped, and the rooms were comfortable.

Cons: Property details are misleading - the property shares the pool with another house (also posted in booking.com, but there is no indication on both ads that the villa is shared). Pool is not private as indicated, unless you are lucky that both properties aren't booked at the same time. At check-in time, we were looking forward to still enjoying the last hours of the day by the pool, but were surprised to find other guests in the garden, that also kept observing us for quite some time while unpacking. Luckily, the next day they left and we were able to enjoy the "private pool" ourselves.
Still very disheartening to arrive and see this. Felt tricked by the posting and owner, since the only reason we booked this location was for the private setting. Everything worked out in the end, so overall pleased with the experience."
