"Pros: Perfect Location. Pool that can be used on the first floor if the beach gets too windy or too hot. Lovely apartment with nice decoration and comfy bed and couch and chairs and beautiful view of the beach and great restaurants at your feet plus a pharmacy below you. Shower is powerful which is very nice. Cons: It lacks air con. For how high up it is. It gets very warm at night during peak season so it needs an air con system installed to cool the apartment down to get a comfortable sleep. It does adverstise that is has air con but it does not. The door to the bathroom is very stiff and needs fixing Other than that its a lovely apartment and the hosts are very easy to contact." ~John

"Pros: Communication for directions from the owner Catarina were easy to follow to find the property. You will be directed to the backstreet where the parking is located just by the green pharmacy sign where Luisa will meet you to show you the underground parking and to your apartment. The apartment is on the 11th floor easily accessed via the lift and it is spacious having a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge (where a second bed is located). Easy access to the waterfront and beach and town. Great location. Head for the fairground where you will find a restaurant serving an excellent grill run by a family business (32 years in business) started by brothers. Cons: I would suggest that a sofa is added in the main lounge. In terms of the beach. This is not picturesque like the Algarve but an ideal location for Portuguese holidaymakers and/or Lisbon residents who want a day or a weekend at the seaside. A sort of Clacton-on-sea for Londoners. For us it was perfect for a day birdwatching on the Tagus Estuary tour on one day and our return flight from Lisbon and car return. In terms of car hire - Do not hire from Wheego who are racketeers." ~Ray

From the first moment, the owner kept a high level of contact - recommending places to eat and speaking on the local nature along with the general environment. Through her guidance and hospitality, we gained an enriched experience. She went above and beyond to invite us to her own restaurant - where we received the highest level of service and hospitality. Regarding the apartment. It was spacious, pristine and awe-inspiring. The floor-to-ceiling windows gave a breathtaking view of the local town, alongside the beach and the surrounding hills. One of the best moments of experiencing the apartment was utilising the kitchen to create our own dish. This is something no hotel nor any other accommodation can provide! Being the first to experience this newly renovated apartment. I will say with all honesty that every facility was above expectation and something everyone should aim to experience❤️" ~Luciano
