"Pros: End unit on an upper floor. Great location and view. The former patio areas have been enclosed, so lots of space. Lots of nice restaurants just a two minute walk away. Less than a 10 minute to the Pingo Doce supermarket. Free parking on the street. Photos were accurate. We really liked the apartment and would be happy to return! Cons: The guest guide really ought to be expanded to include more detailed instructions on how to use all the appliances, TV, etc. We never were able to access the underground garage. The Nespresso coffee maker hardly made any coffee at all.. we were there during big wind and rain, and the windows in the dining area howled - and leaked. "Pros: A really modern and well equipped apartment. Excellent complex which felt very safe, it was like a home away from home. One of the nicest stays we've had on our travels. Spacious and comfortable space in a secure complex with a quiet pool area and an on-site cafe. (Mon-Sat, cash only for non Portuguese visitors.) Really good location for local restaurants and shops, plus a nice bakery. A 25 minute walk into the centre, but you can get a Bolt/Uber for about 2/3€ and be there in less than five minutes. Our host was lovely and went out of her way to accommodate us. Air conditioning made the stay very comfortable and I have never been in a better stocked/equipped apartment, it had everything you could need. Cons: It was quite easy to hear noise from other apartments, this was generally fine in the bedroom area but in the sitting room there was often loud conversations and music, this wasn't a huge issue for us as we were up late ourselves and didn't mind. The pool area was quiet which was nice, lots of space but a little run down. The pool was a little dirty and the outdoor downstairs toilet area smelled of drains if you were seated too close to it and the breeze blew the smell that way but it was a great facility to have, and again it didn't really bother us too much." ~Joanne
