"Pros: The house is very stylish, nicely furnished and beautiful. It really feels like a home. A gorgeous location in a rural hamlet in the mountains. Quiet too - just the sound of sheep with bells around their necks being herded back off the mountain each evening. It is so quiet you can sometimes even just about hear the swish of the wind turbines on the hill in the distance. The house has great facilities, a good quality pool table, table tennis, big dining table, games table and the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with excellent storage space. Several rooms upstairs have a small balcony and there is a large one you can sit out on. The swimming pool is nice. The hosts were quick to respond when we contacted them by email with a question about nearby shops to buy a headlight bulb for our van. They even phoned one of the shops to check they had what we needed which was really kind. They also emailed and called us by phone to reassure us when we asked about whether wildfires might be a concern in very hot weather. Thank you Eduardo and Isabelle, we had a fabulous holiday in your lovely house.
Cons: There is very little to moan about. A few of the rooms had blown light bulbs which I didn't feel comfortable replacing as they are recessed ceiling lights. (There were spare bulbs in the drawer in the hall)
We liked the pool but there is not much shade around it.
The access to get to the house through the village is very narrow in places. You have to take it slow. I was driving a Transit van and it did fit through but it was tight!" ~Robert
