This northern Portugal property is sited on the foot of Serra da Cabreira and includes a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. The Quinta do Rapozinho’s houses have all been renovated and offer tranquil accomodation amidst peaceful surroundings. All heated villas include a fireplace, private bathroom with free toiletries, living room, flat-screen satellite TV and a fully-equipped kitchenette. The units also include free WiFi, a terrace and views of the garden and mountains. Upon arrival, a basket with breakfast ingredients will be provided to guests. Meals made by the Quinta’s staff are available, upon request. Guests can also prepare their own meals in the kitchenettes equipped with microwave, refrigerator, stove, coffee machine and cutlery. Also included are outdoor barbecue facilities. The outdoor pool is surrounded by olive trees and has wide green spaces where guests can relax or play football, badminton or the traditional Jogo da Malha. The Peneda-Gerês National Park is 33 km away and has immense green areas and hiking trails available, as well as a varied and rich animal and plant life. The Pena Aventura Park is a 27-minute drive and has many activities and sports available, such as paintball, canyoning, rafting and slide. Guimarães, the 2012 European Capital of Culture is 40 km away, and has many points of interest such as the historical centre or the iconic Guimarães Castle. The Porto International Airport is a 65-minute drive from the Rapozinho, and the property has a shuttle service available, at a surcharge.
