"Pros: We loved the location of the property. Has an amazing view over Calheta and the sea. Only a 30 minute drive to Funchal if you wish to visit and about the same time to drive to Sao Vicente, so a great location if you want to explore other parts of the island. The property is very cute and has been restored to a high standard. It was nice to hear from the owners the story of how they renovated the property and how proud they are. Rightfully so! Very comfortable to sleep in. Quite nights sleep. :) We will recommend and be back next time if available. Cons: Sofas in the living room aren’t super comfortable as more suited for outdoors. "Pros: Very clean, big and comfy apartment. Beautiful view for ocean. Great billard. Comfy beds and big 3 rooms. You need a car but it's very close to Sao Vincente, PR16, PR13, PR6 and other levadas/veredas. Amazing banana route nearby. Host is very helpful and friendly. 100% recommend. "Pros: We enjoyed our stay in Arco de Calheta. The apartment was spacious and comfortable as shown in the pictures and described. It was clean. We had our breakfast at the terrace with a view on the ocean. The owners were amazing, they showed us all the fruits they have, give us the recommendations where to go and took great care of us. "Pros: The property has fantastic views. Its location allows you to see sunsets right from the large windows. The swimming pool provided great relaxation after a day of exploring the island. We arrived late at night, and the fridge had some basic supplies for the following morning’s breakfast, which was a nice touch. Cons: This is not a negative just a tip.
