"Pros: The host Sandra was friendly and is accessible by phone or email. The guest rooms on the main level were tastefully decorated. The wardrobe storage space for luggage and personal items exceeded your expectations. The house has everything inside that you may want or need to use during your stay, making it feel like home. The location to the city center was only 10 minutes by taxi. There is also a bus stop near the house that was a short 15-20 minute ride to the Praca Velha square in Angra. The WiFi signal is reliable and fast. There is a nice little second floor balcony with a small table and chairs to sit outside. Cons: The hot water delivery to the sinks and shower in the kitchen and bathroom was very delayed. You had to always wait several minutes for the water to heat up hot enough to wash your face or shower or wash the dishes in the kitchen. The Big TV in the living room - the screen was black with no images for about 5 minutes. The kitchen was not cleaned properly from the use of the previous guest and it was necessary for the owner to come to the property on the check in day while we were there to disinfect the kitchen herself. The mattresses were not very comfortable as you could feel the springs." ~Sylvia

"Pros: The breakfast was delicious, ample and with great variety. Excellent coffee. The property is a beautiful combination of a historic house with fantastic gardens and modern amenities - great bed and shower. The staff is warm and friendly. They were very helpful when we discovered a flat tire on our rental car just before heading to the airport and persisted with the rental company to be sure we wouldn't miss out plane. Cons: We liked everything and were sorry to leave after three nights." ~Alexandra
