"Pros: The apartment was large, modern well equiped. On the road above the heart of the town with a view up the valley to the rice paddies. The cafe was very good too Off street car parking too Cons: Unfortunately a bike apparently fell over onto out hire care damaging two doors. They say they will compensate us but it is too early to tell at this stage. Ring me on +61 417426800 after 1 May if you wish to know whether they kept their commitment. "Pros: Very clean and gorgeous view from the dining terrace. Rooms were clean with comfortable bed and balcony included. Loved that the bathrooms had toilet seats you could sit on and that toilet paper was provided. Most public bathrooms don't offer that. Warm shower was also available! Stephanie was very accommodating to our needs as we planned a 3 day trek around the terraces. Delicious local Filipino cuisine was cooked and served on the property. She provided us with an excellent guide, Herson who spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the history of the terraces. He always made sure safety came first. Climbing hundreds of feet of stairs and descending narrow steps often times without rails at high elevation was challenging and dangerous if you lost your balance. Our tricycle driver June was also there to drop us off at the trailhead and was waiting for us at the end of our trek. Cons: The property is about a mile walk from the center of town, but it made for good exercise after eating a hearty meal. The roosters can be annoying if sleep is an issue, but roosters are everywhere in Banaue." ~Sonya
