"Pros: Nothing. I was not able to stay in the property that I paid. My payment was collected but the property was not available since family members occupied the property. I ended up staying in another place while waiting for my refund which the property owner claimed they did not receive but payment was processed by booking. com. I made complaints and no action taken from customer service until now, very frustrating. The property owner claimed they didn’t receive any reservation or payment from booking.com. Not sure who to chase now since booking.com didn’t action within 24 hours about my complaint and still waiting for money to be disputed through my bank.
Cons: Lack of communication. The property did not have email address and Philippine number provided. The payment was taken in full before but the property was not available. I had to physically visit the property and luckily was able to get the property owner’s contact info via messenger/Facebook. She was kind enough to reply and informed no communication was given by booking.com and no payment was received from their side. Booking.com customer service is useless, no action or response made it’s been 4 days. Shame." ~Camba
