"Pros: Nice modern well furnitured apartment, just the bed was hard (but that is common among the Philippines). Amenities were a little scarce (no initial toilet paper, minimal kitchen supplies), but sufficient. Rice cooker, water boiler, 2 pans, cutlery for 2, a few cups and glasses. A good washing machine was available! Planes occassionally fly very low over the area which are loud. Personally this does not bother me, but keep in mind if you are easily distracted by this. Apartment was clean and initially served with a guest amenity set including toothbrush, toothpaste soaps. Shore Residence staff is friendly and very alert on unauthorized guests, so the place feels safe. Also located in a top location: 10 minutes walking distance from Mall of Asia. "Pros: Nice location close to the SM Mall of Asia and close enough to the centre of Manila for a cheap Grab journey. Hosts were very accommodating after we needed to extend our stay due to illness and let us stay in the same room and pay after check-out. The room was a nice size and had everything we needed (kitchen, fridge/freezer, stove, washing machine), but the bed and pillows could be a little bit more comfortable for a long-term stay. All in all a good experience. Cons: One staff interaction put a small downer on our stay - after coming back from a meal we were stopped in the lobby by a security guard and asked to provide all the details of our stay, despite having been in and out of the property for the past 4 days and having the key to the room in our hands. The guard had no idea how to operate the reception and we were stood there for over 20 minutes whilst he tried to find our details." ~Pete
