"Cons: Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Reservation at "Simple Yet Lovely 2BR Unit in Acqua Private Residences" on August 25-26, 2024 Dear Mam/Sir, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding our recent reservation at the “Simple Yet Lovely 2BR Unit in Acqua Private Residences” from August 25-26, 2024. Despite having fully paid for the booking in advance, we were not accommodated as agreed. Upon our arrival at Acqua Private Residences at approximately 2:00 PM, we were denied entry by the reception and security, citing the absence of any endorsement from the host. Despite repeated attempts to contact the host, we received no response for an extended period of 6-7 hours. Only after this prolonged and frustrating delay did we finally reach the host, who eventually made the necessary endorsement. However, to our dismay, the reserved 2-bedroom unit was unavailable as it had already been occupied by other guests. As a result, we were offered a 1-bedroom unit, which caused significant inconvenience as one of our party was forced to sleep on the floor. This was not in line with the terms of our original reservation. In essence, we paid for a 2-bedroom unit but were provided a lesser accommodation, all while enduring hours of unnecessary waiting and discomfort. This situation has caused considerable inconvenience and frustration, and I request an immediate response to address the following: A refund or adjustment to reflect the discrepancy between the 2-bedroom unit we paid for and the 1-bedroom unit we were provided. Compensation for the 6-7 hours of waiting and the inconvenience caused by the failure to uphold the original booking terms. I trust that you will take prompt action to resolve this matter and ensure that future guests do not encounter similar issues. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
