"Pros: We enjoyed our stay and the staff were friendly. The cats and dogs were very affectionate, although it was hard to keep them out of the room! It was pleasant staying in a mangrove swamp, next to the sea. A bonus was that the shared kitchenette and bathroom was all ours during our stay, as nobody booked the other room in the main house. That was the "Lakeview" room and did actually overlook the lake behind. The resort was about a 10-minute bike ride to Bayawan city, near enough to get any essentials. Guests are expected to keep the house clean and tidy, so be ready to sweep and wipe around you. Again, we were the only occupants of the main house, so tidiness was not a problem. The only thing the staff do is empty the bins sometimes. All in all, the place is very good value for money and well-located. Cons: Perhaps I misread the resort description, but I booked a "Seaview" room, only to discover on arrival that there was no sea view at all. The beach itself is quite long, but I wouldn't recommend swimming in the sea." ~Wade
