"Pros: Great value for money. It's a pension house, so simple but perfectly good accomodation. Room was clean, beds were comfortable etc. The location was good. A walk away from the busier parts of town and tucked away from the road enough that you could get a good night's sleep. The staff were brilliant and lovely. In particular, one woman rescued us. In the Philippines they have large spiders, and so you have to expect that occasionally they'll get into your room. Well we had an absolute monster. The 3 of us are useless cowards and noped out of there. We asked the lady at the reception and she came in with a bag, chased it around our room and grabbed it. This literally saved our night - we are all completely soft and wouldn't have slept in there with the spider in there. I know this sounds ridiculous, but it is what it is. Anyway we are super grateful to this woman, our knight in shining armour, who laughed it off with us afterwards. Thank you! All in all, good value, basic but comfortable place to stay with lovely staff. Cons: Nothing, was all good :)" ~Thomas

"Pros: Right by the market so great for exploring. Air Con great. Cons: It’s down a dark 20 yard passage way right by the busy market. Room tiny shower toilet but no sink. ‘Window’ just faces a wall but was enough light for me. Few bugs in the room but they soon disappeared with a bit of coaxing. Price point probably right for what it is" ~Gareth
