"Pros: The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Great location, close to the beach, sari-sari stores, bakery and more. The room was very spacious and served its purpose. "Pros: Nicely done rooms, even though very small and toilets were so tight. But there's hot water in the shower, and there's a water dispenser with both hot and cold drinking water. There are sitting areas outside, with electric fans, and in the garden. The kitchen is so well equipped and more than complete, there was even an air fryer and a blender. We weren't able to make use of it but it would have been nice to prepare meals there, especially considering there are at least two stalls selling fruits and vegetables nearby, a meat shop across the road, and the fish market is within walking distance. The homestay is centrally located in northern Siargao, with short travelling distance to Algeria Beach in the north, and Pacifico Beach and Magpupungko to the south. There is a nice beach, as well, just a block away from the homestay. There are also many eating places nearby, although most of them were closed at the time we were there. But we had good grilled dinners at Beshie's. We were taken around by Jonathan, one of the owners, in his bao bao, who was a very able driver and tour guide. We were able to see many places in the area in just one full day. Cons: Not the homestay's fault, but it's a bit difficult to get to and from Burgos. Public transportation is rare, so you are at the mercy of tricycle drivers who quote very hefty fares. But I'd like to return to Burgos, which is very, very laid back compared to General Luna, and I would want to book in this homestay again." ~Karen
