"Pros: I enjoyed myself at Elen Inn, and I spent nearly a month there. The room is very clean and spacious, comfortable mattress and pillows, aircon is new and very quiet. Regular cleaning and changing of bedsheets. The garden is a nice to look at through the window. The reviews that mention the surrounding area beeing a bit challenging is not untrue. It just depends on the sensitivity of the individual. Yes, there is rubish on the way to the property, yes the houses are humble, but there are no safety concerns. On the contrary, the kids greated me with hi5's and the puppy dogs cheered my day. Cons: The kitchen area could be improved and kept cleaner, but it is an outdoor kitchen, called "dirty kitchen" in the Philippines... Eating out is affordable, so no problem for me." ~Lucia

"Pros: Sooo clean, very nice. The space is good and very quiet which is hard to find in malapascua. No hot water but that’s normal and expected. The staff was very kind and the laundry service the best price on the island.the inn is probably the furthest from town almost you can get in malapascua, so you need to plan.
