Palmas del Mar Bacolod is situated right in Bacolod City, the capital of the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. Yet, it is far from all noise of city traffic. The five-acre resort is secured by a perimeter wall and around-the clock security, giving guest comfort, tranquility and peace of mind. To get to any point in the city and elsewhere in the province, our friendly Customer Service staff can arrange for limo service or car rental, or our front-desk personnel will be happy to call for taxi service. There are three shopping malls in the city, the closest one, being just 10 minutes away from the resort. And here and there convenience stores abound. Just 15 minutes away from the resort is The Showroom, a store selling export-quality fine handicraft that are manufactured for the foreign market but are available locally at great savings. They can even ship furniture to your homes anywhere in the world. Health buffs and sports aficionados will be happy to know that just a few minutes' drive from the resort are many fitness gyms, gofl courses, badminton courts, soccer fields, and a sports complex used during the 2005 Southeast Asian Games. Further off from Palmas del Mar Bacolod are off-road biking paths, mountians to trek, caves to explore, and a whole underwater world to dive and discover.
