"Pros: This place couldn’t be more perfect! First, the staff and management are efficient and incredibly kind, even to our 4-year-old child, who truly became friends with them. They met all our family’s needs every time! They go above and beyond, which we really appreciated and makes us want to come back to this resort for our next trip to Bohol. We stayed for 10 days, but the comfort provided by the staff made us want to stay another 10 days! The place is very clean. The area around the pool looks exactly like the photos. The pool is super clean, pleasant, and amazing… the water is warm! The room and facilities work very well. The location is great because it’s far enough from Alona Beach’s nightlife, so it’s perfect for relaxing in the resort’s peace and quiet. A free shuttle takes you to the beach every hour until 5 PM, except on Wednesdays. A tricycle or tuk-tuk ride back in the evening costs 100 pesos. You can also walk if you enjoy it. The resort is about 5 minutes from the airport, which is very convenient for arriving fresh and leaving stress-free. Our return flight was delayed to the evening, and we were able to arrange a late checkout with the hotel for an acceptable price. The resort has a bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere, open until 8:30 PM for food and 10:30 PM for drinks. The breakfast and restaurant dishes we tried were fresh, clean, and good, and the cocktails too. The WiFi seemed good for our basic needs. There were no power outages during our stay. Panglao is globally well-developed: very clean, good roads, and a nice vibe for both relaxing and partying. We hope to stay at Scent of Green Papaya again, we already miss that place and its staff. Cons: Improvement: The shower temperature was a bit hard to control — it was either too hot or too cold, with no in-between. Also, the water pressure in the sink of room C4 was quite low. But these are just small issues compared to how well the whole resort is managed. Thanks again!" ~Nicolas

"Pros: Breakfast was delicious, a little hard to walk to and from at night but luckily there is a shuttle throughout the most part of the day to Alona beach. And staff were really great to accommodate our early morning flight from Panglao, offering an airport shuttle and even packing us some sandwiches to take for breakfast." ~Nicole
