"Pros: I chose Yaku Wasi based on a review and the fact that Senicio was a guide and had been part of the mummy recovery in 96. I was hoping to be able to go to Laguna de los Cóndores with him on his horses, but it was not the right time and too treacherous, but he did take me up to La Congona on horseback, a site where over 120 remains of round houses of the Chachapoya are and it was a really nice trip. The room was lovely, the bed heavenly and I had a nice three days with interesting conversations. And of course, the Leymebamba museum is really worth going to. Julia made me some really good breakfasts, different things every day, but you have to let her know because breakfast is not included.
