Location

Our Hotel is an extensively renovated and modernised 19th Century coaching inn or post house. We seek to be the most comfortable and welcoming hotel in the whole region. We offer a traditional country inn atmosphere, rather than the typical uniformity of many hotels. Our location besides the main avenue of the city gives good access from all directions. We are about 4 kms from the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Accomodation

We offer 48 rooms (108 places), divided into two hotel parts: Galicja and Superior. There is a possibility for an extra bed in a couple of rooms. Each room has an Internet connection, LCD-TV with wide range of channels, work desk, bathroom with shower, Guests get a bottle of mineral water for free. What is more - each Superior room has a hairdryer, notebook-size safe and tea&coffee making facilities. We offer various types and sizes of rooms.

Facilities

We guarantee a parking space (free, video-filmed, supervised 24/7) and a garage for motorbikers and bikers. Take a chance to relax in Garden Wellness&SPA, which contains a Wellness part with 3 saunas, jacuzzi and relaxing room, and four treatments chambers, offering massages and face&body treatments. Feel invited to the Club Hall - a place to have a pool, chess or cards game.

Dining

Stara Poczta - located on the first floor of the hotel, a fine-dining restaurant serving traditional Polish cuisine with emphasis on the old traditional Polish, Silesian as well as hunter style dishes. On the menu you may also find typical European cuisine. The fireplace in the central point of the restaurant creates an exceptional atmosphere. Trattoria Viva - The smell of roasted coffee, herbs and spices used for delic ious meals and original interior design - are the essence of this restaurant. One can cay, it is the Italian kitchen lover's paradise. Our menu not only includes popular dishes, such as pizza or spaghetti. We offer pasta prepared in many ways, wonderful salads and meats prepared according to Italian recipes. "Viva" is also our cafe and patisserie where we brew the best coffee in town and prepare mouth-watering deserts. The restaurant is divided into two sections, one of which is in the restored original 19th century basement of the hotel. Our outdoors restaurant garden is open during the spring-summer season. U Szwejka Pub (Cellar) - it's a basement like no other - truly exceptional old 19th century stone walls, original décor items from the past centuries and original, genuine look will catch your attention. Join us for beer testing or superb wine from our own wine cellar. All this among the presence of emperor Francis Joseph and the irreplaceable Good Soldier Svejk.
