"Pros: This was the best hotel we stayed in during our Omani road trip. The location was fascinating, the property is steeped in tradition, owned by Abdullah and before him his grandfather. The house has been loving restored and now offers accommodation. We stayed in a new room that was built last year, it was spacious, clean, comfortable and had amazing views of the valley. Abdullah took us on a personal tour of the museum next door which is where he grew up, it was so interesting to hear his stories. The food was buffet for dinner and breakfast, both delicious with a variety of local dishes and western. It was a stay that we will never forget." ~Claire
