"Pros: Our hostess was a delight - friendly, welcoming and with plenty of great advice about what we could do locally. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had a large deck with stunning views both ways along the glorious valley. The kitchen was well equipped. On our hostess’s recommendation we were able to walk down the renowned Serpentine Road from the property, which was a delightful experience.
Cons: Compared to other places we stayed, we found the linen hire a little expensive."

"Pros: Nature is divine. The gauge, the mountain tops, a short walk to the waterfalls and a collection of wooden cottages a stone’s throw from the main entrance. The food at the restaurant was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Cons: The receptionist was rather indifferent and lacking enthusiasm. I was rather surprised how little she seemed to be willing to make us feel comfortable or make our experience unforgettable. I would say it was so uncharacteristic of Norway."
