"Pros: We have stayed at many privately managed lodgings over the years, but Edvard is the best host we've ever had. He was kind, helpful, and patient—a great local resource for our first time in Norway. The apartment's location was perfect with a car, close to supermarkets on the main road and all the beautiful hikes on Kalvøya and surrounding islands. It's situated on a smaller, peaceful island with amazing views - a perfect place to watch the Northern lights. The fully stocked kitchen and super clean house included everything needed for a comfortable stay, even items we hadn't considered, like a reflective safety belt for walking on roads at night. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared. Cons: Tank water heater was not enough for a group of 5. Best to minimize usage in the evening and space out showers. Wifi was spotty on some occasions but not too bad." ~M
