"Pros: Spacious apartments for group of friends, in the middle of the city center. Cons: Bearing in mind that I was a guest in this Apartment Hotel before, I have noticed that room condition and equipment has been changed. Kitchenette equipment is in much worst condition than before. This is really minor investment. I had to ask for garbage bags on the reception, got two, one was used before for something (not garbage). Than I just went to Svalbardbutikken and bought 20 pieces package. The rest was left in the apartment. Also, the pan was in catastrophic condition, with lots of scratches. Dangerous for use. Than I also bought a new one worth 200 NOK and left in the apartment for future guests. Advice for Hotel Svalbard Lodge, please check the kitchenette equipment and its condition. It means a lot when you stay in apartments. Invest a little to renew the equipment in the apartment." ~Marko
