"Pros: This is the best location of the villa by lakeside. You can see the northen light with the luxury view from here. The kithen and living room were very big and all the kitchen equipment is promptly provided. There are no heater in very bedrooms but when I request, they provide portable heater to us promptly. We are very happy to stay here! Cons: There is only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet, not 2 bathrooms as mentioned" ~Thanyaporn

"Pros: An excellent base within suitable distances from the experiences Lofoten has to offer. The arrival is very easy and flexible. The hosts are friendly and reachable quickly. The location is quiet, even though the main road passes nearby. The cabin is very clean. The entrance, bedrooms and living room are very spacious and the cabin has everything you need. Chromecast worked perfectly. The washing machine is a big plus. I didn't mind the limited visibility to the sea. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you very much for being dog-friendly. If you're travelling with a dog, I recommend Haugheia which you can see across the water. Cons: If you are as lucky as we were with the weather and enjoy Lofoten in the heat (+26°C), the cabin is also hot. All the windows can be opened and Offersøykammen shades the cabin in the evening, so the cabin cools down a bit in the evening/at night. There were no bugs in the second week of August, but notice that there is no bug net on the windows. The bathroom and especially the shower are very compact. However, you got used to this, and the glazed shower is excellent, because the rest of the bathroom stays dry." ~Meeba

"Pros: The owner is very helpful in replying to my queries promptly. The whole property is very warm and clean; the interior design and taste in the living room and dining areas are very special. There is a huge deck facing the sea, so we could sit there to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. We are so happy to have two bathrooms! The master room has a big window and faces the sea, how romantic it is! We can park the car just next to the house, very convenient. This spot is near Leknes airport, so it is a good location to visit north of Lofoten without rushing to the airport to return the rental car and catch the flight. Four of us have spent three nights in this property, and full of memories, although we did not encounter the northern light. Cons: There is a tiny issue that there is continuous noise (maybe the boiler) from the bathroom on the ground floor. Fortunately, we didn't hear it once we shut the bathroom door." ~Shu
