"Pros: The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Geilo, and many rooms (including ours) have a wonderful view of the other side of the valley. It is relatively close to the ski slopes, with a ski bus stop just outside the hotel. Good breakfast.
Cons: the rooms are very simple and worn out. The bathroom had a bathtub installed in place of an old shower, but it was not very comfortable to use, especially since there was no way of blocking the water in the tub. The rooms only have single beds, pity that the hotel does not have any way to turn them into doubles. The 4 stars are absolutely exaggerated, it's a very simple 3-star hotel for skiers. The hotel claims to have a swimming pool, but it was closed for renovation when we arrived, and they offered a discount for a water park on the other side of the river instead. The parking is located quite far from the main building."
