"Pros: We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend Cons: Nothing - fabulous - if it’s available book it!" ~Rebecca
