Positioned on the southern shores of Lake Pukaki, in the Mackenzie Country, and designed to maximize the panoramic views, Lakestone Lodge offers free bicycle rental to explore the beautiful country scenery in the surrounding areas. Every room and bathroom at Lakestone Lodge boasts stunning views, northward towards the Southern Alps. On calm days, Aoraki Mt Cook can be seen reflected in the turquoise waters of the lake. In the evening guests can watch the sun set over the mountains. You can go fishing and swimming in the rivers and lakes nearby or go hunting, hiking, climbing and skiing in the high country. There are also tracks for walking and cycling.
