"Pros: Very clean and spacious room. A very peaceful place. Breakfast was fantastic and our host Renee was great. The guest wing lounge was very comfortable with some yummy chocolate and excellent tea/coffee selection.
Cons: Our expectation (based on 'summit' being part of the property's name and the road it is on) was we would have a view of the valley from an elevated location. This is not the case as the lodge is located near the bottom of the hill. We also found the bed hard and uncomfortable, but we do understand a firm bed might be to some peoples liking."

"Pros: The property is beautiful with amazing gardens, a tennis court and a pool. The house is furnished really well, and is great for a large group’s accommodation, with multiple different areas to hang out in.
Cons: One of the upstairs showers didn’t drain properly. There were quite a lot of dead flies around the window sills in the upstairs bedrooms. The pool was full of leaves, and didn’t look like it had been cleaned for a while - we had very warm weather so would have used it otherwise. These were fairly minor things though, and wouldn’t put me off staying here again."
