"Pros: We loved how much space we had in the house. Plenty of room where we could all come together but then plenty of space if we wanted our own quiet time. Cons: Unfortunately there were a few things wrong with the property and for the price we paid I would have hoped they would have been fixed. When we first arrived it was a little later in the evening getting cold and the lock box was not where the instructions had said. I called booking.com but they didn’t answer. After a long time of searching the outside of the house we finally found where it was. These instructions need to be changed. The fridge leaks into the kitchen floor. The oven doesn’t work which was needed for our bigger family. The main bedroom door cannot be shut as the bottom hinges have broken. The latch of the window in the double room has also come out of the wood so the window cannot be locked. Some of the chairs outside have snapped and are unsafe." ~Courtney

"Pros: We loved the ambiance of the hotel - it had a comfortable but cool vibe. The owners went out of there way to think of everything from cozy blankets in the room to homemade shortbread and complimentary teas, coffees and waters served daily. Couldn't recommend this hotel moe highly." ~Anne

"Pros: Great lodging for the price. In the heart of the town and a restaurant right next to it. Facilities were great. Room was spacious. Staff engagement was superb. Cons: When I wanted to use a plate, I noticed that it was still greasy from previous tenants' use. I rewashed it properly. So it would be prudent to always wash and cutlery & crockery before usage." ~Allison
