"Pros: it’s very quiet but close to restaurants and shops. It is also close to the caves, the spa and the casino. It was the perfect location. The shower was excellent - good water pressure and instant hot water. The kitchen was well stocked. Cons: There is a small gravel hill to get up to the property which might be a bit of a problem for anyone disabled. It was no problem for us and actually, I liked the fact that it was off the Main Street - it made it more quiet. The photo doesn’t do the property justice. The place is located behind this set of apartments. It is quite private, charming and unique. The only other thing I would say is that there are two twin beds next to each other instead of a full or queen mattress. I know this is common in Europe, but it was a bit uncomfortable if you are accustomed to a single mattress. We took a blanket and filled the space between the beds and then it was fine. For visitors who love having a full kitchen, there was no microwave, but there was an electric stove top and tea kettle." ~Maria

"Pros: The location of the apartment was perfect. It was near the Gemeentegrot and most of the attractions were within walking distance. The apartment was newly renovated, very clean and nicely decorated. The bed and the sofa were comfortable enough for good sleep. Our host Sandra was very nice and friendly. We felt welcomed to the place. Cons: If you decide to come by car, that would create a problem as we could not easily find an available parking lot nearby. It was xmas period and the town was too crowded! Every day we needed to change the parking location, as we were not allowed to keep the car at the same parking area more than a defined time period. The bedroom and toilet/bathroom area were not separated by a door, which I find, not comfortable, as it creates a privacy problem while you are in WC. There was only a sliding wooden door between the living room and WC." ~Bsyrc
