"Pros: The location is excellent for access to the center, and you don't need to walk far to see stunning parks, sights, and architecture in the city. Plenty of eateries and shopping right outside of the door. Live jazz seeps from cafes many evenings. Books and more books, classics and contemporary, in French, Dutch, English - probably others. The coffee and croissant at the Bookstor was an excellent start to every day. Cons: I liked most everything, but some American travelers might find the stairs interesting, and the sink in shower with no hot tap. I personally don't care for rainfall shower heads, but that's my own issue, and didn't stop be from loving the place." ~Suzanne
